IEDA Community Catalyst Building Program

The Iowa Economic Development Authority [IEDA] has recently made the Community Catalyst Building Remediation Program [CCBRP] open for cities to apply. The CCBRP offers an opportunity for cities to address underutilized buildings through rehabilitation, redevelopment, or deconstruction. Through financial assistance, the program aims to stimulate economic growth and bring reinvestment  to cities. There is a total of $1,000,000 in funding to be distributed to cities throughout Iowa, with 40% of the funds being allocated to cities withpopulations of less than 1,500; Maximum grant funds per city shall not exceed $100,000.

Applications are by invitation only. In order for cities to be invited by the IEDA, cities are required to submit a pre-application.  Pre-applications are due by January 29, 2018. Applications are due by March 1, 2018.  To find out more visit the IEDA website.
