I am honored to present the FY 2016 Annual Report. SIMPCO’s primary focus is to be a catalyst for regional cooperation. We work to unite local governments of the Tri-state Siouxland Region into an effective Council of Governments. We create action by partnering with local governments in long-range planning, community development activities, and professional regional program management to solve problems within the community. This type of partnership fosters intelligent growth, economic development, and safe, accessible transportation. I, along with the SIMPCO staff and the SIMPCO Board of Directors, are very proud of the achievements highlighted in this report. We continue to look forward to working alongside all our members and partners again this year for continued growth in the Siouxland Region.
