SIMPCO MPO DRAFT Transportation Improvement Program
The Siouxland Interstate Metropolitan Planning Council (SIMPCO) Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) is in the process of developing the Draft FY 2014 - 2017 Transportation Improvement Program with approval scheduled for July 11, 2013. The TIP is a four year listing of transportation projects which are to be funded using Federal transportation dollars; this includes interstate, highway and street improvements as well as trails and transit improvements. DRAFT FY 2014 - 2017 Transportation Improvement Program for the SIMPCO MPO
In addition, copies of the Draft FY 2014 - 2017 TIP will be available for viewing at the following city halls and county courthouses: City of Sioux City, City of Sergeant Bluff, City of Dakota City, City of South Sioux City, and City of North Sioux City, Dakota Dunes Welcome Center, Plymouth County, Union County and Woodbury County.
SIMPCO staff will be holding a Public Input Meeting as an opportunity for the public to review and comment on the Draft FY 2014 - 2017 TIP on June 11, 2013. The public is invited to attend the meeting anytime between 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. in the SIMPCO conference room, 1122 Pierce Street, Sioux City, Iowa. This public input meeting will be conducted utilizing an open forum format. Staff will be present to informally discuss the Draft FY 2014 – 2017 TIP. No formal presentation will be made.
