The Iowa Finance Authority Board of Directors approved nearly $7.4 million in FY 2018 Local Housing Trust Fund Programs to Iowa’s 25 certified Local Housing Trust Funds. The Western Iowa Community Improvement Regional Housing Trust Fund, administered by SIMPCO, was awarded $259,317. These funds will be used to continue home owner-occupied housing rehab projects in Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury counties. In FY 2017 the Western Iowa Community Improvement Regional Housing Trust Fund rehabilitated 25 owner-occupied homes across the Siouxland region.
