Part-Time Building Custodian/Facility Maintenance

Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is seeking an experienced part-time custodian/facility maintenance person responsible for maintaining the interior and exterior building on cleaning, running floor scrubber, mopping, vacuuming, and performing all tasks to maintain the facility up to proper cleanliness standards.

Duties include keeping all supplies and items secure with strict confidential measures when entering offices and other areas. Follow policies, procedures, and programs for the safety of the building and personnel. Maintain orderly storage, inventory, and the ordering levels of supplies. Support the mechanic’s work, small projects, and use power equipment for snow removal, lawn care, landscaping, general maintenance, and fleet maintenance. Other related duties will be as assigned by management.

This position works up to 30 hours per week with plans to go full-time as the building expands into its second phase with additional vehicle storage, offices, and conference room.
