Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is seeking a full-time, salaried office professional to support a growing transit system focused on ridership growth and infrastructure expansion. This role is in a professional office setting, uses a robust scheduling and dispatch software system, and starts immediately.
Position Details
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
- Remote Work: Fully remote after training
- Occasional Saturday Work: As needed, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m., working remotely when appropriate and based on available resources
- Reports To: Operations Manager
Responsibilities & Desired Skills
- Office support related to dispatching and scheduling
- Strong customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A college degree is helpful, but not required
- Prior experience in office, scheduling, or dispatch environments is beneficial
