In a recent interview with KLEM Radio, our SRTS Director Brian Pearson shared exciting news: Siouxland Regional Transit System is planning to build a new transit office and bus storage facility in Le Mars by 2028!
Le Mars has been identified as a key location for growth, and we’re actively pursuing grants to support this $12 million project, with approximately $2.5 million earmarked for the Le Mars facility.
Three potential sites have already been selected, and this expansion will help us better serve the community with accessible, reliable transportation — including long-distance trips across the region.
