We have some amazing members on the SIMPCO Board of Directors and we want to make sure you all get to know them! Say “Hello” to our August Board Member Spotlight, Ken Beaulieu. Ken is the Chairman of the Board for Dakota Dunes, South Dakota. Not only is he on the SIMPCO Board of Directors, Ken also serves as the Chair for the SIMPCO Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO).
Q: Who inspires you?
A. My wife for putting up with me!
Q: Where is your favorite place in the world?
A. San Diego, CA
Q. What are you passionate about?
A. My grandchildren and ISU sports
Q. What projects are you working on right now?
A. Raising money for an addition to our church and as Chairman of the Board of Dakota Dunes, we are working on additional flood control
Q: What do you like best about serving on the Board of Directors for SIMPCO?
A: The opportunity to meet and get to know the representatives of other city and county governmental bodies

A. Always smile

A: The company that I helped build, AC&R Specialists

A: Golfing
