Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is a demand-responsive, ADA-accessible, public transit system. We are currently accepting applications for bus drivers in Iowa and Nebraska. The Iowa counties are Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth and Woodbury. For Nebraska, Dakota County: South Sioux City, Dakota City, Jackson, Hubbard and Homer. The ideal candidate is a safe, responsible driver with great customer service skills. They are provided a company-issued cell phone, tablet and work independently with a well-maintained fleet of buses, vans and a data-driven, automated scheduling software system. The driver has the ability to serve the general public and their communities by providing a service to others. SRTS is expanding into a new building in 2023 with additional fleet and resources. Full-time includes health insurance, vacation, sick and holiday pay. Applicants must be at least 25 years of age and with Commercial Driver License (CDL) Class C with passenger endorsement. Individuals will be required to pass a DOT physical and mandatory drug testing.
