The Siouxland Regional Transit System (SRTS) is a demand-responsive, ADA-accessible public transit system dedicated to providing reliable transportation services to the general public. Our service areas include Cherokee, Ida, Monona, Plymouth, and Woodbury counties in Iowa, Southern Union County in South Dakota, and Dakota County in Nebraska. We are committed to ensuring that all individuals, including those with mobility challenges, have access to safe and convenient transportation.
Our Fleet: Our buses are equipped with lifts to accommodate mobility devices, ensuring that passengers with wheelchairs, walkers, or other assistive devices can travel comfortably and safely.
Service Types:
- Curb-to-Curb Service: This service involves the passenger waiting at the curb when the vehicle arrives. The driver will assist the passenger in boarding and will drop them off at the curb of their destination.
- Door-to-Door Service: For passengers who need additional assistance, our door-to-door service ensures that the driver will help the passenger from their door to the vehicle and from the vehicle to the door of their destination.
