Congratulations to the City of Mapleton for being awarded $142,381 in grant money from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant, Vehicle Acquisition program ran through FEMA.
The primary goal of the Assistance to Firefighters Grants (AFG) is to enhance the safety of the public ands firefighters with respect to fire-related hazards by providing direct financial assistance to eligible fire departments, EMS organizations, and State Fire Training Academies.
