PUBLIC NOTICE –

SRTS – COVID 19 RESPONSE

SRTS, your full-service transportation company regrets to announce a significant reduction in service due to the Coronavirus.

SRTS will cease providing General Public transportation in each of our 6 county service areas as of Friday April 10, 2020.

SRTS Board of Directors and Executive Management made this very difficult decision after extensive discussion and evaluation of the circumstances. Ridership has been reduced by over 80% and revenue has equally plummeted. SRTS, had hoped to continue servicing the transit dependent public as long as we could, however, the delicate balance of protecting the community, passengers we serve and our drivers resulted in a real clear choice.

SRTS will continue to provide previously established dialysis trips and a few medical trips. All passengers will be required to wear face mask or face covering while riding.

SRTS, as well will be closing its administrative office on April 10 to the public and all non-essential personnel.

SRTS, considers it a privilege to serve our communities and looks forward to being back as soon as possible.

Please watch our website and watch your local news media for updates as to our return.
