Non-Discrimination Information

SRTS, SRTPA/RPA 4, and SIMPCO MPO ensure that no person is excluded from participation in, denied benefits of, or subjected to discrimination under any program or activity on the basis of race, color, or national origin, in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Civil Rights Restoration Act of 1987. SRTPA and SIMPCO MPO further commit to promoting nondiscrimination in all federally funded programs.

Any person who believes she or he has been aggrieved by any unlawful discriminatory practice under Title VI may file a complaint with the SRTPA or SIMPCO MPO Title VI Coordinator.

Iowa Civil Rights Commission, Attention: Title VI Program Coordinator, 400 East 14th Street, Des Moines, IA 50319. Iowa Department of Transportation (Iowa DOT) by filing a complaint with the Office of Employee Services, Attention: Civil Rights Section, 800 Lincoln Way, Ames, Iowa 50010.

A Title VI complaint may be filed by completing and submitting the complaint form or by sending an email or letter with the necessary information to:
