We have an amazing group of staff members at SIMPCO and we want to make sure you all get to know them! Say “Hello” to June’s Staff Spotlight, Michelle Bostinelos. Michelle serves as the Executive Director of SIMPCO.
Q: Who inspires you?
A. I am inspired by strong women. Women who balance family and working (outside or inside the home) while also giving back to their community. The women who do it all with grace and humility, and most likely, a lot of caffeine.
Q: Where is your favorite place in the world?
A. I love to be by the water! I will take a lake or ocean view any day.
Q. What are you passionate about?
A. I am passionate about living life to the fullest, to never growing up completely, and celebrating the little moments.
Q. What projects are you working on right now?
All of the projects, all of the time! As the Executive Director of SIMPCO I tend to have my hands in just about everything! I am so happy to have a great staff that supports me and the organization.
Q: What do you like best about working for SIMPCO?
A: There is never a dull moment! I like the variety of projects and working with so many great people inside and outside of the organization on a daily basis. I enjoying being able assist communities and counties and to be able to make a positive impact in the Siouxland region.

Q. What are you most proud of?
A: I am proud of my family. My husband and I didn’t have the easiest time starting our family. We now have three great kids who keep us on our toes and laughing most days.
Q. What is your favorite pastime/hobby?
A: I have a passion for photography and capturing everyday stories.
Q. What would people be surprised to know about you?
During my college years, I worked at Camp Foster YMCA in Okoboji for 4 summers. I had my CDL to drive the camp bus and was a certified lifeguard!
