Procedure for Requesting Reasonable Modification
To request a reasonable modification or to appeal a previous decision, please follow these steps:
Submit Your Request:
- All requests for reasonable modifications or appeals must be submitted in writing. Address your request to:

Response Time:
- Siouxland Regional Transit System administrators will respond to and decide on your written request, complaint, or appeal within two (2) business days.
Complaint Adjudication:
- Complaints will be reviewed and adjudicated within two (2) business days by the SRTS administrators.
Appeal Process:
- If you appeal a decision, a conference may be held with relevant agencies, including the FTA Region VII Office, IDOT Office of Public Transit, SRTS administrators, Board of Directors, and other human service entities.
- A response to your appeal will be provided within ten (10) business days.
