How to Make Ride Reservations
Planning your ride with us is simple and convenient. Follow the steps below to ensure you have a smooth and hassle-free experience:
Office Hours for Scheduling Rides: Our office is open for scheduling rides from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
How to Schedule a Ride:
- You can schedule your ride by calling us at (712) 279-6919. If you are outside our local calling area, you can reach us toll-free at 800-881-2076.
For TDD/TTY Users: We are committed to providing accessible services for all our customers. TDD/TTY users can place a reservation by calling RELAY IOWA at 800-735-2942. Our staff is trained to handle relay calls and will ensure your ride is scheduled efficiently.
Reservation Requirements: Reservations must be made 24 hours in advance. Please have the following information ready:
- Rider’s name
- Pick-up address
- Appointment time and date
- Drop-off location
- Any additional stops
- Return ride needed?
- Curb-to-curb or door-to-door service?
- Special mobility needs (wheelchair, walker, etc.)?
- Need to use the lift?
Personal Care Attendants:
One attendant rides free if assisting the client. Otherwise, they will be charged. Schedule additional persons, including children, when making the reservation.
Important Reminders:
- All passengers must be seated and wear their seat belt.
- Be ready at least 5 minutes before the scheduled pick-up time.
- You may share rides with others, which could adjust your pick-up time.
Cancellations and Changes: If you need to cancel or make changes to your reservation, please notify us as soon as possible. This allows us to accommodate other passengers and maintain efficient service.
